Service Description

Our Educational Support service provides individualized academic and functional learning support led by a certified Intervention Specialist. Sessions are designed to meet learners where they are—supporting growth in a way that feels encouraging, personalized, and actually meaningful to daily life. At LBS Connections, we believe learning should be accessible, affirming, and built around the individual—not forcing the individual to fit the system. Using a modification-based Common Core learning approach, support is tailored to each learner’s strengths, support needs, interests, and educational goals. We specialize in supporting autistic and neurodivergent learners across a variety of academic and functional skill areas, while also incorporating individualized IEP goals and objectives into teaching and support when applicable. Support may include: Academic skill support and remediation Modified Common Core instruction Executive functioning and organization skills Functional academics and life skills Emotional regulation and school-related coping strategies Social-emotional learning and self-advocacy Individualized IEP goal and objective support Building confidence, independence, and learning strategies Our approach is collaborative, flexible, and neurodiversity-affirming—focused on helping learners build skills in ways that feel supportive, respectful, and sustainable. Specialized in neurodivergent learners. Grounded in education. Led with humanity. Services are provided by Logan Spaugy, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and licensed Intervention Specialist who has been supporting individuals with disabilities since high school. Logan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education and a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, has been a BCBA since 2019, and brings nearly a decade of experience across education, behavior support, advocacy, Please Note: All new clients begin with a free consultation to ensure LBS Connections is the right fit before booking services. Service Area: We offer in-person sessions across Shelby, Miami, and Montgomery counties, along with surrounding areas in the greater Dayton community. Virtual sessions are available for families outside the area—or when that simply works best for you. Payment: Services are available through private pay and/or by utilizing the Autism Scholarship Program (Ohio EdChoice Scholarship). LBS Connections is currently in the process of becoming an approved Autism Scholarship Program (ASP) provider.

To cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. To secure your booking, a payment method must be on file; however, you will not be charged at this time.
